SEO pricing, written down
Prices updated October 2026
Every price we charge is on this page, including the hourly rate. There's no checkout. You tell us what you want, we send a written proposal, and once you've signed it we invoice.
Prices don't include sales tax. We add it where it applies.

Outreach and Google Ads are billed monthly. They follow the term rules in the next section, not the one-off rules.
Service terms, in plain words
This is the short version of how working with us goes. The proposal you sign has the details for your project, and if the two ever differ, the signed proposal wins.
What we do
We do the work listed in your plan or proposal. Anything outside it is billed at $125/h, and only after you've said yes in writing. An email counts.
Plan term
Monthly plans, standalone outreach and Google Ads management start with a 3-month first term. After that they run month-to-month until you or we cancel. One-off work, like audits, sprints, setups and single articles, has no term at all.
Cancelling
Email support@seobark.com to cancel. Notice is 30 days from the day we receive your email, and there's no cancellation fee. If you cancel during the first 3 months, the rest of the first term is still due.
If your 30 days end partway through a month, the last invoice covers only the days up to the end of the notice period.
A worked example Example, not a real account
- You start Local Watch at $1,250/mo on March 1. Your first term is March, April and May.
- You email us on April 10 to cancel. Thirty days takes you to May 10, which is still inside the first term.
- May is still due, so the first term costs $3,750 in total. We keep working through May 31 unless you ask us to stop sooner. Either way, May is billed.
- Same plan, but you email on July 1 instead. That's after the first term, so your last day is July 31 and the July invoice is your last.
Billing
Plans are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days. If one is overdue, we may pause work until it's paid. One-off work is invoiced as the proposal says. We don't take card payments on this website, and prices don't include sales tax where it applies.
Price changes
Prices on this page were updated in October 2026. If we change the price of your plan, we tell you in writing at least 30 days before it applies.
Google Ads
Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google, from your own Google Ads account with your own billing. Our management fee is $950 a month for ad spend up to $8,000 a month, plus 12% of any spend above $8,000. Setup is $650, once. We don't mark up ad spend. We can't control what Google charges per click, which ads it approves, or whether it suspends an account.
The flat $950 is invoiced in advance. The 12% part, when there is one, goes on the following invoice once the month's spend is final in your Google Ads account.
A worked fee example Example, not a real account
- In your first month you spend $12,000 on ads. Google bills that to you directly.
- Our fee for that month: $950, plus 12% of the $4,000 above $8,000, which is $480. Total $1,430.
- Add the one-time $650 setup, so our fees for that first month come to $2,080. The $950 and the $650 are invoiced up front. The $480 goes on the next invoice, once the spend is final.
- The next month you spend $6,000. That's under $8,000, so our fee is $950 and nothing is added.
Who owns what
Your website, your accounts, your data and the content we make for you are yours once it's paid for. That includes Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console and your Business Profile. We work in them with user or admin access and never take ownership. Our own templates, checklists and tools stay ours. When we stop working together, we hand over access and exports within 10 business days.
What we need from you
Access when we ask for it, answers when we have questions, and approval of content and changes within a reasonable time. Accurate information about your business. If you're not the owner of the site or an account, you need the owner's permission for us to work on it.
Content approval
Nothing we write goes live without your approval. You're responsible for checking facts about your own business, and in legal, medical or financial topics, for having an expert on your side review them.
Links and outreach
We don't buy links. Placements are earned through outreach, and the other site decides whether to link. Any sponsored placement is labelled and uses rel="sponsored". We can't promise a number of links.
Other people's platforms
Google, your hosting, your CMS and directories change their rules and features without asking us. We're not responsible for what they do, but we'll tell you when it affects you and what we suggest.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information, data and account access private. We don't share it except with the service providers we need to do the work, and we don't use your data for anyone else.
Responsibility and limits
We do the work with reasonable skill and care. If something goes wrong on our side, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, rankings or traffic.
The free audit
The free audit has no obligation to buy anything. There's no contract, no card, and nothing turns into a subscription.
The usual
These terms and your proposal are governed by New York law, and the courts of Kings County, New York have jurisdiction. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term once, we haven't given it up.
Questions about any of this? Email support@seobark.com or call +1 (816) 483-8580.
No one can guarantee rankings — Google decides. We commit to the work we list and how we report it.
Search results depend on Google, your competitors and your market. Timelines on this site are typical planning estimates, not promises.
Questions
Why publish prices at all?
Because you'd ask anyway, and it saves us both a call. If a price on this page doesn't fit your situation, the proposal will say why.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Tell us before your next invoice and the new plan starts that month. Moving up is simple. Moving down during the first 3 months is something we'd agree with you case by case.
What isn't included?
Ad spend, paid tools or directories you choose to use, development work beyond the scope we've agreed, and anything not listed in your plan or proposal. Extra work is $125/h with your written okay first.
Is the paid audit fee taken off a plan?
No. The audit is priced as standalone work, and the action plan is yours to use however you like.
Not sure which line is yours?
Start with the free audit. It'll show you what's wrong, and then the choice is easier.
